About Jumps Club
Jumps Club was created to help more racegoers discover the excitement of ownership. National Hunt racing has millions of passionate followers, yet many remain unaware that ownership is within their reach.
Through independent editorial content, club profiles, ownership guides and member stories, Jumps Club aims to become the home of affordable ownership in National Hunt racing.
Why I Created Jumps Club
I’ve been passionate about National Hunt racing for as long as I can remember.
Like many racegoers, I have stood in the crowd wondering what it must feel like to be part of the winning team. To follow a horse through a season. To visit the yard. To know the trainer. To celebrate a winner with fellow owners.
For many years, those experiences seemed beyond the reach of ordinary racing fans. Today, that has changed.
Racing clubs, syndicates and shared ownership schemes have opened the door to ownership for thousands of people. Yet despite this, many racegoers still don’t realise how accessible ownership has become.
That is why I created Jumps Club. My aim is simple: to help more racing fans discover the excitement, camaraderie and sense of belonging that ownership can provide.
A Lifetime in Racing
I have followed National Hunt racing throughout my life and have been fortunate enough to visit every National Hunt racecourse in Britain. Like many enthusiasts, I have spent countless days at race meetings, following horses, studying form, discussing trainers and enjoying the unique atmosphere that makes jump racing so special.
Through Jumps Club, I hope to help more people move from simply watching racing to becoming part of it.
A Career in Publishing
For more than 40 years I have worked in publishing, sponsorship and stakeholder engagement. Much of that time was spent creating collaborative publishing projects that brought together organisations with shared goals and helped them reach new audiences.
Jumps Club applies the same approach to National Hunt racing by creating a platform where racing clubs, syndicates, trainers and ownership organisations can share their stories and connect with prospective members.
